Job Description Job Title: Tourism Operations Supervisor Location: Kafue National Park Reports To: Tourism Manager Job Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tourism Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate tourism services within Kafue National Park. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality visitor experiences while maintaining strong alignment with conservation objectives and operational standards. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily tourism operations, facilities, and visitor services
- Supervise and support staff, including training and performance management
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Maintain tourism infrastructure and report maintenance needs
- Analyse operational data and prepare reports
- Support marketing, stakeholder engagement, and park promotion
- Assist with budgeting, revenue collection, and financial accountability Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Conservation, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in tourism or hospitality (protected area experience is an advantage)
- Proven supervisory and customer service experience
- Valid driver’s licence (no restrictions)
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and social media platforms)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Knowledge of sustainable tourism and the Zambian tourism sector Working Conditions
- Combination of office and field-based work
