Job Description: Kitchen Chef Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the chef with daily prep work, including washing, peeling, and cutting/chopping ingredients.
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen area, keeping tableware, cookware, and equipment clean and orderly.
- Assist in properly storing and managing ingredients to ensure freshness and safety.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, collaborating with the team to ensure smooth daily catering/dining operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a kitchen helper, prep cook, or relevant kitchen work in the catering/F&B industry.
- Basic knife skills and food processing capabilities.
- Must hold a valid health certificate for the catering/food service industry.
- Responsible, hardworking, adaptable to physical work, and possesses good teamwork skills.
